Proof of concept on the Base Sepolia testnet, built for Stevens FA591. Trades come from public STOCK Act disclosures;
where a filing date was missing the demo assumes trade date + 30 days. Scores illustrate the method and are not allegations.

Independently verify any score
The suspicion-score algorithm is on-chain and pure: anyone can re-run it
with raw inputs and confirm the result. No black box.
What is this?
CongressChain is an on-chain registry of disclosed US Congressional
stock trades, paired with a transparent, deterministic suspicion-scoring
algorithm. Every score on this site can be independently re-derived by
replaying the inputs through the on-chain SuspicionScorer contract.
Why blockchain?
Tamper-evident: once a trade is recorded, no one (not even us) can edit it.
Open algorithm: the scoring weights and formula live on chain — visible to all.
Permissionless audit: any researcher can fork the data and re-run any score.
Where does the data come from?
Public STOCK Act disclosures from the House Clerk and Senate eFD systems,
ingested via the House Stock Watcher
and Senate Stock Watcher community datasets. In V2, an oracle network of
"data hunters" (paid in $SUN from the BountyVault) submits new
disclosures within hours of publication.
Demo data is illustrative; this PoC runs on Base Sepolia testnet. Not investment advice.
